What a crazy last month. I am finishing up my semester long Independent Study for Charlie and Path101 and will be presenting on Monday. Last week, Jacob and I presented to Chris Richeson and the Spirits of the Blue Ridge folks. It went extremely well. Tonight, my group is presenting our review of the business simulation case we have been working on the last 4 weeks. Consequently, we have increased our stock price from $31 a share to $125 a share and hold a 29% share of manufacturers sales. Not bad for the group that was treading along in the beginning.
Aside from the above projects, I am also finishing up my assignments on being interesting. I have not been as aggressive as I could have this semester with this project but will finish up strong. The rest of my "free" time, I have spent and will continue to spend looking for a job. In the past week, I have applied for the Account Manager/Project Manager position for Alexander + Tom, a leading digital agency in Baltimore, the Online Usability Manager position with Under Armour and the Associate Brand Manager position for the Kobe Bryant brand. I will continue to reach out to my network to see if there are any other great positions I should apply to.
In this economy, finding a job will be very competitive. Wish me luck in my endeavors. I imagine after next week, I will be able to post much more consistently.
